Welcome!

Blue Velvet Muse is a new creative crafting challenge blog that will be ready to launch on October 1st, 2010!
Anyone looking for a challenge and inspiration are invited to join me and the other creative guests for an adventure I hope you will all enjoy. We look forward to sharing our creations with you and we hope you will share with us too.

  8. I hopped over from your other blog (I'm in the UYS class too). I like new things, so I'll give this a try. Three things than inspire me - pretty patterned paper, pretty porcelain objects (plates, figurines, ornaments, etc.) and peppy happy music.

  10. Hi! I'm Melissa's Mom. I just want to share my three things that inspire me.
    1. My Daughter Melissa, She is so brave to step out and start this new adventure. She has inspired me to try something new, and get out of my comfort zone.
    2. BLUE, if its blue I want it!!! This color makes me feel so happy.
    3. The words "No you can't......." This makes me really go for it! I have over come many things and accomplished a lot, and done a lot because of those words. Thanks, Melissa for the title "Mother Muse"

    Three things that inspire me:
    Nature (particularly in autumn)
    My "inner circle" (close family and friends)
    Vintage - whether it's images or objects.
